Gorgeous sleeveless dress in Poppy fabric by Laura Gunn. I just love the lush color of this fabric with the contrast of the red poppie against a green polka dot back ground. The dress has a velcro closure in the back for easy off and on.

Christmas is Coming and We're Running Out of Goods.

I've been cracking the whip and making Jeannine work extra time. Seems now-a-days she sells her stuff on Etsy as fast as she can post it. It's really nice to see some of the feedback. More people are seeing how much time and effort she puts into really crafting these pieces. Between the easy on/off Velcro to the use of her surger for all of the hems, it's really solid craftsmanship.

If you've seen something fly by on the Etsy site and wanted it, but now it's gone, I'd like to encourage you to email Jeannine (Jean9@crazyforhue.com). We've got one nice family lining up this week and they'll get a bunch of the production time. Now's not the time to be shy. I plan on scheduling my poor wonderful wife right up until the last day the US postal service will ensure delivery by Christmas.

Also, since I'm seeing it sell so fast, I'm pressuring her to raise her prices. Lock it in now!!

Come check us out at the Nokomis Urban Craft Fair on Saturday November 14 from 9am - 2pm. We've been selling a bunch of American Girl doll clothes recently. I'm looking forward to Jeannine doing well tomorrow and being able to buy me dinner.

I'm thinking we're going to need to give a few of these away to help raise awareness. They are pretty heavy duty pencil bags that snap into a three ring binder. To hell with the trapper keeper.

The Nurse Mommy takes a look at Jeannine's Purses

Jeannine sent a purse over to a crafter blogger back in June. I'm a big fan of her work, and it turns out I'm not alone.

I was lucky enough to receive the Urban Couture Handbag to review and it is extremely well made and incredibly sturdy. If that is not enough, just look how cute it is, and the cuteness does not stop on the outside. The inside is also made of patterned fabric that is adorable. This purse is quite honestly as well made as many of the purses I have purchased in the upscale boutiques, and for a lot less money! Though it is small, it has a way of offering lots of space. I guess that has a lot to do with its shape and the pockets on the inside. I have been carrying this purse for a while now, and have received many compliments about it!
